About Rob

Rob Cesternino

Rob Cesternino first received national attention on the CBS series “Survivor: The Amazon”, being dubbed “the smartest player to never win ‘Survivor’”. Following a second stint on “Survivor”, Rob moved to Los Angeles and teamed up with new media pioneer, Scott Zakarin.

While a member of Zakarin’s Creative Light Entertainment, Rob helped create the E! reality series “Kill Reality”. The series chronicled the making of the feature film “The Scorned”, which was cast entirely with reality stars. Rob was featured in the show as one of the writers and producers of the film.

In 2006, Cesternino became one of the founders of Iron Sink Media. The new company sought out to provide viral, interactive entertainment. Iron Sink Media’s first project was the groundbreaking web series “Soup of the Day“, which was the interactive story of one man dating three women at the same time. The entire story was turned into a feature and released on DVD through Echo Bridge Home Entertainment.

Iron Sink followed up “Soup of the Day” by creating several popular intertwined web-series, including “NoHoGirls”, “WeHoGirls” and “VanNuysGuys”.

In 2007, Cesternino and Scott Zakarin became executive producers on MySpace.TV’s first original series “Roommates”. The show received national attention for it’s use of the MySpace platform and sponsorship by Ford and FreshLook Contacts lenses.

In 2008, Iron Sink continued to produce highly trafficked comedic web-series including “DownstairsGuys”, “UpstairsGirls”, “ModelBall”.

In 2009, Iron Sink won the first ever Streamy award for “Best Reality Series” for producing “The Shatner Project” with legendary actor William Shatner.
